Overview

M.Sc. Agriculture is a two-year full-time master's degree with a concentration in agriculture science and various cutting-edge agricultural methods.

The course covers scientific knowledge in the areas of agriculture and farming with an emphasis on farm equipment, Plant Physiology, Horticulture, Entomology, Agronomy, Biotechnology, Agricultural Economics, Farm Management and Biochemistry. A dissertation project and industrial training are also part of the course curriculum to give students practical experience. Students can learn more about the numerous sorts of specialist courses offered in agricultural studies through this course.

• Candidates must have completed class 10+2 in Science from a recognized board with PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjects with a minimum of 50% in aggregate for General category and 40% marks in aggregate for SC and ST.

Eligibility Criteria

• The following requirements must be fulfilled to be eligible for the M.Sc. Agriculture course.
• Aspiring candidates must Complete a Bachelor’s degree like B.Sc. Agriculture or its variant (Horticulture, Forestry, etc.) from a recognized college/university with a minimum of 50-55% marks secured.

There is no age limit to study M.Sc. Agriculture. Anyone who has completed their graduation and satisfies the above-mentioned criteria can study this course.
