Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Agriculture is a four-year undergraduate degree program that covers topics related to the field of agriculture and its application. The subject also has further streams such as Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant pathology, Entomology, Soil science, Food technology, Agricultural economics, Home science, Fisheries, Forestry, and Veterinary science. The aim of the course is to provide modern methods of agricultural sciences to improve water resource management, soil texture, poultry management, land surveying etc.

The main purpose of this course will be to help the next generation in improving agricultural productivity and yield along with minimizing the crop loss.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have completed class 10+2 in Science from a recognized board with PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjects with a minimum of 50% in aggregate for General category and 40% marks in aggregate for SC and ST.

Selection procedure

  • Students are offered admission based on the marks acquired in the entrance exam, and merit marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
  • Scores of AP EAMCET and CUET are considered for application / selection process.
